Brian spent the first several years of his career with Garmin International, headquartered in Olathe, KS.  He began his career on the manufacturing side of the organization as a Process Engineer before transitioning to the Avionics development team where he worked on the development of several avionics products, most notably Garmin’s G1000 integrated cockpit system.  After a short time with GE Transportation, Brian moved on to SOR, Inc. in Lenexa, KS where he spent nearly 15 years in the process instrumentation industry.  He led the development efforts for several new products, mostly focused on new pressure and level instrumentation.  Brian joined StoneLock in November of 2020.  His initial focus was to implement several hardware improvements, resulting in StoneLock obtaining agency approvals for the current GO and REM products. From there, he transitioned to his current role where he leads the engineering team in the development of new StoneLock products and features.

When he's not in the office, you can typically find Brian either back home in central Kansas working on restoring his 1964 Ford Falcon, or perhaps in his garage cutting his latest project on the home-built CNC machine that he put together a few years ago.
