StoneLock Facial Biometrics Protecting Data and Privacy

IdentityCare

Private. Convenient. Secure. Trusted.

Data Privacy

StoneLock operates in the non-visible spectrum and stores no photographs or videos of its users.

StoneLock® is an opt-in facial recognition technology intentionally designed to protect user identities by safeguarding their privacy and eliminating the need to touch.

While an access card or password can be misplaced, stolen, or cloned, the inherent properties used to authenticate users through StoneLock ensure that the only people accessing your facility are the ones who have been granted permission. Other biometric solutions that utilize photographs can suffer from accuracy problems, spoofing, or compromise user privacy if used inappropriately.

How it Works

Utilizing state-of-the-art near-infrared sensors, StoneLock’s readers authenticate users against a population of biometric keys that are unrecognizable outside of the StoneLock System.

Since the biometric keys created only contain mathematical representations and do not utilize photographs or videos, users remain protected and private. Operating in the non-visible spectrum, StoneLock biometric keys cannot be reverse engineered to produce recognizable images of users. In contrast, other biometric solutions that utilize photographs can suffer from accuracy problems, spoofing, or the compromise of user privacy if used inappropriately.
